thanks for the warm welcome everyone. in my perusing today ive came across poop boards and sweet pdz. an awesome idwa to add to the coop that i shall be using!

I absolutely swear by the stuff! It really doesn't take much and it dries out the poo and keeps it smelling really fresh! We put the girls in their new coop about 10 days or so ago and I put a sprinkle (maybe half a cup for a 4 X 5 coop) on about 3 inches of straw. Haven't cleaned it yet other than scraping off the poo that landed on the roof of the nesting boxes...a couple small piles. And all you can smell in there is the fresh sawn wood! Shoot their run smells after 2 days! I'm thinking next time we move it, I'll throw some PDZ in there too!
