good news and a slight concern..!

I'm following! Be prepared to assist. Call ducks are some of the hardest ducks to hatch. Good luck!
I'm as ready as ever! Hopefully they'll be as determined as my single call, Newt, but not as difficult. She was positioned where her feet and wings were above her head and when we assisted, she kept kicking us! She was really ready to get out.

I'll post another update sometime during the afternoon or evening if they've made any progress!

Welp heres another update! But with Clove!
I didn't candle Clove this morning since I didn't want to disturb the other two for too long so he actually may be ready to hatch.. I just went to check on them and Lilac's egg was rocking back and forth and then I watched Clove and I saw it move a bit and I was thinking maybe it was me pushing against the table but then it rocked back and forth like Lilac did!
Maybe they will all hatch together! ^^

awesome news! I sure hope all these babies make it through hatch safely. Keep me updated!!
Uh.. update on Clove.. not sure what's going on!!
(Just to let you know, my mom wasn't here to help me take a picture so I had to film with my computer and screenshot it.. that's why there is something in the way)

That's the top of the egg!
The air cell still hasn't drawn down so I candle the top of the egg to look for movement and on one side I saw that big hole, it just appeared today since I candled Clove sometime in the morning and it wasn't there.
Do I assist? Should I make a safety hole where that air-cell-like thing on the top of the egg is or do I just wait? I still see some movement but not sure how much..

I can see her moving around in the actual air cell at the bottom of the egg but nothing is moving in that new air cell at the top. Not sure if I should assist and what to do if I have to! Never have seen anything like this.

EDIT:
I candled all three of them, they all seem to be pushing against the air cell, not sure if it's their beaks or what part of them but they are pushing.
I can see Clove pushing against the air cell or at least a part of him and instead of it looking like a shadow, it looks a bit red.. makes me think he might've busted something?
Also some part of him was a bit in the air cell at the top of the egg but it's gone now (when I first candled and noticed it).
I'm not sure if I should make a safety hole for Clove, the air cell still hasn't done the drawdown!

do you mean that he has two air cells? Can you hear chirps or taps? I wouldnt do anything just yet, but let me @New duck mommy 2021

Morning
Sounds like you have babies getting ready to come
I wouldn’t do any safety holes until you know they have for sure internal pips in the air cell
I had a duckling in the spring end up with 2 air cells and he was not able to hit either one as he had no room to turn being blocked at both ends
Watch for bruising on that one if you see a bruise then make a small safety hole in the middle of the bruise then wait 24 hours to make it a bit bigger. This just gives time for veins ti go down and get out of the way
My guy needed a full assist and by the next day his whole egg had brushes going all over from hitting veins
Was very scary but I was able to fully hatch him

Yup he has two air cells.. you can see the air cell at the top without even candling the egg! I tried talking to it and putting it up to my ear and I think I heard some faint tapping noises.
After talking to it a bit, I candled it and noticed Clove is apparently ALL the way in the bottom air cell, you can't even see it anymore.

Just candled all the eggs, no bruises on any of them but Lilac seems to be having trouble getting through the air cell. Keeping a good eye on her.
Lovebug has a shadow in his air cell but I only see some of his fluff/hair, no beak but hes still good.
Clove looks somehow all the way in the bottom air cell and I can barely see that air cell anymore. You can see the top air cell without even candling the egg.

Sounds so nerve wrecking but exciting
I would continue to check them every few hours as long as nobody has external pips as it’s still safe
Watch for the bruises as well unfortunately until you see them in an air cell or a bruise you can’t really help
I’ll cross my fingers and toes for you

Just checked on them again, Clove seems to internally pipped! I talked to him again and I heard tapping noises! That's surprising because Clove is the runt and was the one behind.
Lilac is still having trouble getting through the air cell and I'm not sure if she turned around but I haven't seen any bruises yet.
Lovebug seems to be still trying to get through and hasn't given up! Didn't hear any tapping noises or peeps from Lovebug.

I'm going to play some duckling noises to encourage them. After how many hours until I make a safety hole for Clove if he hasn't externally pipped? I've seen 24 hours, 48 hours, not entirely sure what to go with. And would I make the safety hole in the air cell hes in or the air cell at the top?
I'm assuming the air cell hes in lol, just hope I won't have to because I don't want to hit him on accident, he seems all the way in!
