Good Night BYC Thread

Oh goodness, it is Daylight Savings Time weekend. I do not like this time of year... gets my internal clock all messed up, and I always get a bit confused when taking my basal insulin. One hour later... don't think about it, just take the insulin one hour later (although really I should be pushing it back -- I took it at eleven o'clock last night, so I guess that I should push it back to... about eleven, Daylight Savings Time time. So, about ten o'clock before the "spring" forward).

I wish our state would just pick a time already, and stick with it!!! I like daylight savings time and am going to refuse to go back to darkness in the fall!!! I will rebel!

Good morning here(late) as it's always good night (late) 1/2 way around the earth for Texas. I've modified the saying for over 20 years now from a scientific p.o.v. that's also philosophically a twist on history too:

Good night, sleep relaxed.

Sleep tight was a reference to swaddling clothes for infants and very young from the dark ages to the end of the Victorian era iirc from my theatre history courses. The kids were wrapped so tight to keep them still & on their back . It really reduced blood flow and limited their growth as well.

Plus if you go bed right/tense; you'll wake up sore & tired. Not very helpful or healthy eh?

Cheers!

I don't care if I lose an hour, I'll just add an hour when I wake up. :plbb:plbb
I don't have "time" restraints, I pretty my function on "Tina~Time"!

Eh, "g'mornin'/g'nite" is like "to~may~to/to~mah~to" to me, same difference.

So... "GOODMORNING" &/OR "GOODNIGHT" from me to all y'all!!!!
Sweet dreams!
