Mowed back by the barn. There is a small note in the grass that says "Feed Me”. (no coons last night) Mowed a patch around the chicken pen and saw Mr. Fox. The Jerk! is biding his time! He staid hidden in the center of the weed patch until the second round before he ran out. He just Chaps my hide!

The ole' lady's grandfather came over asking for me to find him carrier pigeons, these will be used a lot as he heads to his Arkansas properties quite a bit! If anyone runs across any up here in the NE corner... Please let me know asap!?!? Any prebuilt lofts would be good to, Daren do you still have that one guys (the big ones) contact info or directions?
 
Heat heat heat! Been letting the girls out into the yard. gives em more greens to make better eggs. Well they do tear up the floweres too, but the trade off is no grass hoppers and other bugs.
Picked a good batch of okra today. Brineing some cheeken today, May be that we have fried Okra and fried cheeken today! (or oven baked; got to protect the waste line) Lots of cucumbers; so onions vinigar and sugar, pepper and wa-la one of the best summer salads. Oh yeah! cocconut pudding with gramh crackers! I only have two words to say; Oink! Oink!

breading, flour with herbs, egg milk wetting agent! put it all in the cast Iron at once. Stir on high heat for a few and a little salt and pepper. I can only say two things; Wow! Wow!

Breaded chicken breast in oven with herbs flower, brine, more herbs and oat meal for fiber. Yep and there is still cucumbers and pudding!

Do you still have the Wellie chicks? I found someone that is going that way and I am hoping that they are willing to go a little farther East than Lawrence to pick them up if we are still a go. It would be tomorrow if everything works out.
