On another front; my white rock hen is hatching her wellie eggs. Guess I need to get a raccoon feeder set up,so it can suck them through the wire. Not really my intent to feed baby chickens to the coons but it does happen.

Very creative! I'm about to make a waterer out of one!

Added: I finished the flowerbed tonight, can't believe how much miracle grow charges for their garden soil! Ouch!

Atleast it's done finally, now I just need to make one around the tree in the front yard, run the slicer on the lawn, and seed it and I'll be done with the front yard project list! But for now it's time to focus on completing the new tractors for the silkies and cochins! On the bright side the new barred's are sticking to their laying schedule and are every other afternoon! Three days here, three eggs!

Have to find time tomorrow to go get a good light to candle with, hopefully I'll get to so I can find out how good the new babies are doing!

Ok need to tell you all that my White Rock hen hatched 8 of 9 eggs not 6 like I reported to Daren. Seems there were two "slip ins", and one "humpty dumpty". Humpty dumpty being a term created by Daren. Wolves ate it so no big loss. Still very sweet to watch mama brood her chicks at her expence. I realize she has dirty feathers cause she has been sitting eggs. I realize that she will eat when they are warm enought to go to the feeder. Sweet mama she did such a great job. Now just hope Tonya still wants em!
