yeah I saw that yesterday when I was picking up feed, Ive given everyone Chicken fever at work so several people are wanting them now. Sorry about the fox again-something out at Daren's has been getting in the pens, so thats been the project the last couple of days

Just chopped up some huge squash for the girls. I know they will love pick the seeds out and soon eat the flesh. I am really afraid to let the girls out as the fox keeps picking them off. Here its snowing in summer! No not drinking yet but the cotton wood seeds are floating in the lack of breeze slowly to the ground. Almost surreal! Yep the girls are on slow down do to the heat. Glad the cheeken house and pen are in the shade!!! What did we do when we didnt have AC??? Just wondering!!

We sat under shade trees drinking iced tea, and slept under the stars, or on the front porch. We went for a swim in the creek.

I am for a creek party. Old tennies cut offs and follow the creek. My aunts and uncles used to snap the green beans or shell the peas under the old oak tree!

Well looks like that stupid coon or cat got another bird last night. I had a hen go broody out of the coop and she wouldn't come back in . So I went to look for her and her eggs and they are gone. I am gonna lean towards a cat because of the tracks I found in the mud.

Anyhow off to work

Sorry about your losses Daren.

We got 2.5 inches of rain last night here in Bonner. Big wind but no damage I can see. Lost my power for about 4 hours. Wow it got hot and humid in the house. May be the last one for a while; news is saying we are heading into a dry spell. Oh those poor people in the drought!
