Good or bad egg?

I would leave # 2 in there until day 14-16 unless it starts too smell. Definitely doesn't look like a blood ring. # 1, #3… definitely infertile but crack 'em open to see if your gonna throw them away anyways

Well here is the results. When I candled to find the #1 egg. Apparently, #2 egg had shifted into the middle of the egg and i didnt see the shadow anymore so I thought it was #1. SOOO # 1 could have been fertile but the yolk was completely buted and mixed with the rest and no development. And #2 was a big coagulated mess of blood around a baby with only 3 tiny blood vessels attached so I'm gonna say it was in fact a quitter.

Choked me up when I saw that poor baby but he/she was already gone. RIP little nugget chickie. :(

Yes I have 8 more that are all full of little wiggles and progressing well. All in all it was at least a good learning experience with these 3. Now I know a little of what to look for.

Also I'd like to add that none of these eggs were bought, all from my own little flock so I'm very proud of my babies.

thats awesome, can't wait to have a flock of my own. I have 28 well growing eggs in the bator right now that are due to hatch on the 8th

so exciting! mine were grown when i got them. The guy we bought our house from asked if I wanted to keep them and I did so these are my first little ones. I'll be doing easter pics with my kids and live chicks this year cause they are due to hatch on the 15th! I'll be sure to post them on here somewhere.
