Good or bad idea?

I was going through HomeDepot looking at potential coops, and I found these.

What do you think? Good or bad idea for a coop in NH. Share your opinions and why!

I personally would not use this as a coop. Mainly because it offers not predator proofing.

Bad idea for a coop I would say, I have one of these substantially larger than your example that I use to store my snowmobiles, atv, boat, lawnmower, etc. These would be impossible to secure from predators unless you wanted to build some sort of a predator proof cage which fit inside the tent and just use the tent for protection from the weather. It would also get cold in winter, it will be as cold as the outside air temp. Also you have to be vigilant with the snow load on these tents, they will start to sag and rip, mine hasn't ripped yet but I've had it for 2 yrs now and I don't expect to get too many more out of it. When it rips I was thinking of taking the tarp off and covering the frame with wire and using it for a sort of chicken run or meat bird pen. Mine is completely round shaped so the walls flow into the roof and snow comes off easily but it still accumulates and pulls on the tarp.

It would be a bad idea for my area. We get way too much wind.
