Any breeds of dogs good poultry protecters I was on BYH and they said that LGDs are better with hooved animals and will eliminate anything on the property with their herd and they see chickens as something on the property and not what they’re guarding, and some loud farm dogs would be better. So I want to hear some good poultry LGDs and farm dogs that I can train and trust with my flock (preferably easier to train dogs with low poultry prey drives)

I can just tell you my personal experience. I have a pitbull who is okay around chickens but will snap at chick's if food is involved which can be bad. My basset hound sleeps out back near half of my chickens and keeps everyone informed of any action, he's been a good alarm but he's useless otherwise. I have an Anatolia x akbash x Pyrenees that has to stay in the field with the goats when we have super small chick's because she wants to carry the chick's o.o my best dog is my border collie x Anatolian mix. He watches everyone and bothers nobody.

Any tips on training
