Starting July 30th, the Frederick County Fair opens. Poultry is loaded in on Monday morning. Better than average poultry exhibit and show. At the end of the week they finish with an auction of the 4H poultry projects. Really neat, you can pick up a prize chicken and help a kid with their school money.
