W/out any real maintance care done I wouldn't pay over $50 each for them (probably less on the buck, unless he was just something really special). The last time I had unregistered mini goats (does, possibly bred) I sold them for $75 each, $50 for doelings, and $35 for my buckling. I bought these does w/ no care other then feeding and watering two weeks before they kidded for $35 each, and probably wouldn't have payed anymore then that for them. I wormed, vaccinated, dehorned, trimmed feet, etc. the kids were disbudded, wormed, vaccinated, well handled and extremely friendly. I had one lady tell me she could get them cheaper (she was interested in one of the doelings) and I told her good luck, she's right she could definately get one cheaper, but she probably wouldn't find one that had had the care I'd given them. I think these things do make a difference in price and it doesn't sound like any of these things have been done w/ these guys so I wouldn't pay a price like it has. And if they don't look like Nigis I wouldn't call them that, I'd just call them mini goats (assuming they are under 25in).
Now I charge alot more for my registered goats, and also think they are well worth it. I have to agree that sometimes people do want something for nothing and don't consider what the breeder has put into them.
