Good price for hardware cloth?

It's not a glitch. It's Heavy Freight. It calculates at a much more expensive rate and is not standardized by FedEx. Wayfair can't hide it in the margins without making it look VERY Expensive.

I have a question for ya ... what weighs more, 36"x100' roll or a 48"x50' roll???

Me think the first, which IS the one that offers Free Shipping... not to squash your theory or anything

Well, it's not all about weight, size matters too... Let's not let the fact that I do this 10 hours a day every day of my life get in the way of your theory

They are made from 2 different manufactures, so I think your margin theory has a ton of merit ... whether it is size or cost... if the 48" more has more net cost for them, less margin = less price movement ...

Now your talking my language I'm pretty sure Amazon doesn't like me as a prime member although I paid a little more on the cost of the cloth, it was 51lbs... and they had to two day it... plus the large shape.... $108.00 total cost 2-day'd... That had to hurt.....

This one only comes in 48"x600" ....so 50ft roll

But you are correct it does not come with free shipping

The affair 48" did have free shipping in the past. We ordered 3 rolls in fall and was free to ship. Nice galvanized wire. Now it says the 48" is not eligible for free. I will do a bit of hunting to see if I can find it cheaper. It was good quality. The amazon is only 36".
