Good price for quail meat?

I'm new to quails and while skimming the internet found $6 per oz of quail meat.
I then looked more closely and realized it was 5, 6 oz birds not one.
So does anyone have a reasonable price they sell their quail for. I'm open to all answers. Thanks

People in my area sell them at $4 per live bird when selling for meat. I've been wondering this too.

I have a paper that I calculated the profits per quail after food and butcher charge are paid. Maybe live quails sell faster though

What numbers did you come up with? I have been meaning to do the same because I want to sell eggs. A bag of feed cost me $25 for 50 pounds and it takes them a while to go through it but I don't know exactly how much.

I just found a website that sells 2 lbs breast meat for $60. So that's just under $2 an oz

I raise quail and have been selling them for $25.00 for two birds, dressed, vacuum packed and frozen. Feed costs a bit over $30.00 for a 40 pound bag of 30% protein.
