Hey there. I'm not sure if most of you know my case (check out my past threads) but i have 8 silkies eggs. 7 are viable after completing a float test 1 hour ago, being 24 hours officially overdue. I'm extremely curious to see whats going on inside these eggs, but im afraid the float test was already violating lock down and im afraid to candle these eggs, i really want to.... how long should i wait before candling them?

If you already have them out of the incubator, candle away. But get them back in lockdown as quickly as you can, and do what you can (hot wet sponges) to get the humidity back up in the incubator!

lol, the water that they were just in raised the humidity up just fine. I'm not touching them for a week, theyre going back into lockdown. if by that week they havent hatched, does it mean the project has been a bust, or is there a possibility of chicken eggs having a day 28?
