Good serama example?

Thank you so much you have been very helpful. One more question, how much is too much to pay? I'm not sure if they will separate the group or not. So how much would you pay per bird and then how much would you pay as a group? Thanks
It's no problem at all ;) For the pricing i'm not sure since I traded some of my standard chickens for my Seramas.. They aren't show quality and some of the rooster look like their combs are slightly frostbitten.. I'd say $10 each.. Maybe more maybe less. I sell mine for $8 a chick. Just make sure you have more money then what you think they're going to cost. I'd say maybe $40 or $45 for an adult trio but again, I'd ask the person who's selling them first what's the lowest he/she is willing to sell them at.

I guess I should have asked that before I ever got interested :( I just called the owner and they want $40 per hen

No, I wouldn't pay that much for just one bird. Where are you located?
The least they said was $90 per trio. I was so interested too because I could just drive and pick em up. I'm in Virginia. My husband is in the Navy and is stationed at Quantico

Oh, So sorry about that :hugs If you were closer i'd love to give you some of mine. I only sell adults as $14 a bird. Have you tried looking into hatching eggs?

I am thinking about it but I am a bit impatient LOL i get excited.I've also heard that the hatch rate is not very good in an incubator and I don't have anything to sit on eggs yet

It all depends. I'm a Very impatient person too lol, I actually have 32 duck eggs in my Incubator right now~ Although I do think letting a chicken brood and eggs is much easier, Incubating eggs can be just as successful as letting a hen brood on her eggs.

I’m not so sure these are Seramas? They look more like Japanese Bantams?
Not Japanese. Could be mixes though or just very poor quality Seramas.. But Japs would be noticeably large then the ones in the pictures and would have longer bodies and legs like my one Japanese hens
