Hi there, and welcome from western Kentucky! You're really going to enjoy this site -- it's the best forum in the world! *no, I don't get paid to say that!!* There are many, MANY helpful, friendly people on here who are glad to share their knowledge and experience with those of us who are relatively new to chickens / poultry / backyard herds, etc. I've been blessed, encouraged, consoled, and inspired by BYC members whom I've never met face to face, and I'm thankful for what I've gleaned from each one. There is so much information on all aspects of farm life (even if your "farm" is your own backyard, and your flock is one or two pet chickens!). It's nice to meet you!
