this is my baby girl Polluela. I think it's a girl. I still don't know what kind of chicken it is. She's beyond spoiled and my parents tell me she's too skinny. Um.... is she healthy looking? She's still on starter and on food I give her. She loves crackers and grass and corn on the cob and bugs (easy) and she likes bread. Idk what else I can feed her so she can be healthy. I also want to know when she will start laying eggs.

If you think she is a little slim, maybe take her off the starter and go to like flock raiser (from Purina) It has more protein than the purina starter. Anyway, watch the salty crackers in the heat. Iike all the other foods you mentioned. Grass is very good for them . The corn and bread will help make her fat. I think she looks good.

She looks fine for 18 weeks. If she is a laying breed then you really don't want her fat, it interferes with their egg laying. Besides being fat and slow helps the predators if she has to run.

yes i think its fine, looking great,Grass is exceptionally bravo . The corn and bread will assist make her oversized. I suppose she looks exceptional.

she's like a dog. we take her ouside alll day and then bring her in when she's all hot and give her icey water or some yogurt <3 i believe she's laying eggs soon!!!! she's been acting weird cause we brough a rooster for her for 3 days and i think they did the deed !

I believe Polluela is going to lay eggs. We brough in a rooster for her. The first day it was horrible. She was scared and running from him and he was loud because he's never been near a female. My Ella has never been near a male for long either. We kept them together for 4 days and on day 2 they became friendlier, and on day 3 she was being romantic with him and pecking him i guess like kissing him? Then he left , we took him back to his owner. and then recently (these 3 days) Idk if its possible for the chicken to get "pregnant" that quick but I guess she's going to lay. Im worried because I don't know what to do

I bet she really likes the cold water in the heat. The rooster just fertilized the eggs. All of her eggs will be fertile for about 3 weeks maybe a little less. I hope she gets to see her boyfriend again.

Fertilized eggs are for making chicks. You don't need a roo to have you hen lay eggs. She will lay eggs without a roo. Did you want chicks or just eggs?
