Good Source For A Stereo?

I want to get a small stereo system, just a CD player and radio with decent speakers. I've checked on Amazon, but a lot of them have lousy reviews or are megabucks. I'm drawing a blank on other online sources. I don't have many places locally, so I think shopping online would be easier, but I can't think of any other good websites. Any suggestions??

You could try some specialty sound shop? More unjustly expensive, likely.

I know, thanks Squishy. It doesn't help that I'm a little picky with color. All the systems I see are black, and I just hate that look, they look dated. I'd like one that's silver with wood tone accents or something. Not a MUST, but it would go with my home decor better. Thanks anyway!

Perhaps...
Advertise or search for.. some kind of custom put-together-er of technical-doo-daas?

I've never seen anything modern with chrome and wood accents that didn't come from a custom car stereo shop or something.. LOL
