Good starter breeds?

I think our list of preferred breeds are

Blue Andalusians
Barred Rocks
Black Australorps
Rhode Island Reds
Americanas

And for ducks we like

Cayuga
Blue Swedish

Im so glad I found this forum, we have gotton so many good ideas for feeders and wateres, just everything,lol. Well I think we are down to needing to get the chickS

Tell me if we are forgetting anything, we have a stock tank to put them in, newspaper and pineshaveings, a feeder and waterer, and a heat lamp. We will pick up the feed when we get the chicks. Anything else? Thanks again!!
