Thanks for all the warm welcomes - my bird is doing well, still unexplained what happened - but now she is my personal favorite and grandsons have named her buttercup.
Overall I am so very pleased with my chicken experience and having a great time with the girls. Today they were dust bathing in the sun - cold here but they are enjoying roaming the yard. Had two inches of snow one morning and they would not leave the coop - hope the girls can get psyched up for winter in northern michigan!
