Good Treats for Pet Rats?

I have 8 rats, in 3 cages, other than having to clean all the cages they arent any more work than when we only had two, the breeder we got ours from will not sell/adopt out a single rat as they really really need companionship. My rats adore baby food banana is their favorite, also cheerios. They really like to go fishing for peas! Get a heavy glass bowl, put a handful of frozen peas in warm water and let her have her way with it (remove it after an hour or so) but really the best treat you can give her is to get her a same sex friend!

I never had a rat but my mouse used to love cheerios.

Also, I used to make tiny little pancakes for my hamster.

Rats prefer a rat buddy in case you were wondering so you may wish to look into that (same sex of course). I had 2 female (spayed) Himalayan rats that LOVED strawberry yogurt, raisins, and rolled oats. Mine were so friendly and loved to play wrestling with my hands. They also figured out how to press a call button on my phone at work so I'd come back into the office (little devils were smart!). I managed a veterinary hospital so the "girls" were always welcome. Rats are GREAT pets!
