Good winter duck bedding??

Yes, I live in the Pacific Northwest. It rains a lot. No, I don't keep water in there. My ducks are almost always wet when they go to bed, so that adds to the moisture.

Goosedragon. Gah, yes, the ventilation is a big thing. I have vents at my roof line and I keep the doors open during the day, but I'm going to have to add more. I noticed that today.
 
I use straw, it works great. Easy i clean out and keeps them very warm.

i use horse stall bedding called Equine pine... it's a wood pellet that breaks down to saw dust when it gets wet.
