Goodbye Nutmeg...

I had to put down my son's favorite chicken today. She was prolapsed and egg bound. The egg was on one side of her hanging out (inside tissue) and the hole where the egg comes out was on the other side hanging out. She was bleeding and the egg inside was broken. She seemed to be suffering. I couldn't get it in or anything. Kinda sad for my son. He's 11 and loved that chicken.
