Well, the girls should be on their way to their new home as of next week. They'll be going to a 2 acre property which already has brown shavers---three 3 year olds. The new owner promises that they wont be killed when they finish laying, and I'm sure they'll be spoilt rotton.

Meanwhile, Daisy, Analise and Peppi think thats all very well, but if Jay hasnt noticed, they're just popping over to the neighbours for a quick chat through the new gap in the fence...

Do you think you can bribe the new owners to give you updates from time to time? Like, you could send them homebaked cookies with a stamped, self-addressed envelope included. You could even tuck folded sheets of paper in the envelope that start out, "Dear Daisygirl,... "

I do hope you get to hear about them from time to time.

leaving your owner to a place where you will be spoiled rotten is good compared to other alternatives. So maybe I should get a bantam and see what they are all about. Which do you recommend?
