All of my Girls took a long, rather intense dust bath yesterday, but when they finished, two of them walked around for a few minutes with very awkward postures- kind of squatting and holding their wings very close to their bodies. I can only assume they were trying to keep the dirt they had collected in their feathers from falling out. After a few minutes they shook out the dirt, fluffed up their feathers and started preening like the others had done as soon as they stopped spazing out in the dirt. Anyone else ever noticed something like that?

Yep, my DH says they look like they're too weighted down with dirt to stand up [IMG]
