Good morning! I’ve searched several times and when I think I know what breed she is, she changes again! Lol. She was grouped in with our Rhode Island Reds but she is a much lighter color. More orange/gold than red. Anyone familiar with this breed?

Where did you get her from? She is a Whiting True Green, which is a hatchery hybrid.

Yes she has white ears 🤷🏻‍♀️ and laid her first egg earlier this week! (she’s 16-17 weeks old). It was light green which was a surprise. I was expecting brown she’s a mystery for me. But she’s also the favorite here. Such a seeet girl!
On one other thread they would call her a “fake chicken” means not true to a heritage breed. My five Barred Rocks are lovely fakes too!

Friend of mine got them from tractor supply then gifted them to me when she decided it wasn’t the right time for her to have chickens. I’ll have to do some research on whiting true green. Thanks! 😁
Hmm. Last I checked WTGs were from Murray Mcmurray hatchery. She is an EE nonetheless, the only difference is that hatcheries tend to put fancy labels on their mutts, which can vary from hatchery to hatchery.
