Hey there - back at the beginning of June, I purchased what I was told was a two month old female Pomeranian. She hated me from day one, resisting any attempts to bond or be friends at all. I noticed she had a bare spot on the back of her head, but didn't think much of it, until I read that that is usually a sign of having been mated, so I'm guessing she is actually closer to a year. After she molted, her feathers on the back of her head came in and now, all of a sudden, she is obsessed with me. She follows me everywhere, stands on my feet, climbs in my lap. I don't mind at all, but I'm wondering if she is starting to see me as her "mate." When I pet her back, she drops her wings and lifts her tail, which to me would be a submissive female mating behavior, but I can't find anything online to confirm that. Any thoughts?
