. 4 eggs left in the bator and that's it for the year.

Still hatching ducks until the first week of July.
Congrats!!!

What a great gift for Jerry. Congrats! I have 5 more dewlap eggs in my bator due between June 28th-July 3rd and one of my girls from my prize trio is sitting on another 2-3 eggs which would be due early-mid July. Then, that should be it for here.

I also had goslings on Fathers day! Two.

I have four more eggs in the incubator; a couple of them are shadowing, so hopefully a couple more will hatch.

The two that hatched were incubated by my goose.

I love the Egyptian gosling pics they are beautiful, but when they grow to adults although very pretty, they just make me think of meanness something in the way their eyes look I am thinking. But those pics are beautiful as usual RG.

OH! January I love the goslings markings on your Egyptians! I can hardly wait to see them grow into their adult feathering.

I spoke with the lady who has the egyptians I bought, and she has a few pairs & just loves them. They follow her around like puppy dogs! They know who feeds them. She have 4 kids from ages 4-11. Her kids love them too. She said they can get hissy during breeding season ~ But my sweet sebbies do that too

Those babies are so big 8, did you name your gander George?

They are huge for sure. I dont think my Production Toulouse pair got that big until they were 3 mos old.
I havent named the last 2 ganders yet. George would be a good name for the chinese gander though, white feathers like a white colonial wig on george washington lol
For my white chinese geese they are Martha and Sally. My tufted geese are Ethel and Maggie. Maggie is the one setting and today has...
A GOSLING! Its toddling around the edge of her nest. Maggie is still on the other eggs so hoping for more. This baby hatched on my Mom and Dads anniversary today, it would have been their 46th if dad was still alive. Unless its still a little wet or i couldnt see too well it looks like it has a dark head and back with the rest white, like a saddleback. I dont have saddlebacks though. Do tufted boys hatch a different color? Im thinking probably just wet unless Bill struck again and i got one heck of a splash gosling.

Aww sounds adorable, and Congrats!!! looking forward to some pics.

Im going to do what RuRu suggested to someone else, take them away from her for awhile then give them back so that they are used to human contact. So ill get pics if them with and without Maggie. I dont know what she will hatch she has eggs from each goose under her.

I thought i had found some american buffs just now near here in a local add, wanted to add a pair this fall. The woman was selling goslings now, i asked about adults, she basically told me i could not afford her adults, because she specially orders her feed and hers are never penned and have pasture and ponds. Well laa dee daa mine has all that too except for specially ordered feed, but in her opinion without even knowing me or seeing my flock, im too poor and my flock isnt being raised right to get geese from her. Thats not good business thats just plain rude.
