Yeah...it did!  I will go back and find that.  They don't exactly look like your blues though.  These look rather splashy, but very pretty.

That color sounds really pretty.

I need take some recent pics of my goslings. The oldest are so big! I'm really curious to see how they turn out.

My Coyote Night Anconas are hatching right now along with some of mine. I'm really hoping for a black and a chocolate. So far I've only hatched blues, lavs, and maybe a silver. Again! It's crazy.

Hi,

I'm getting six goslings tomorrow morning. It was a surprise, I thought I had a month before the breeder would have them for me, but, evidently they hatched today. :) Anyway, I've never had goslings before. I don't have their pen ready. Will it hurt to put them in with my chicks that are nearly a week old? I am worried about the different feed needs and water requirements. Suggestions, please!

they are gonna be super bigger then chicks in no time.... a box, a plastic tub, anything that will hold them for about a week... you can use towels that dont have lose strings (old ones you wont want to use them afterwards) or puppy pads ... maybe the same bedding as your chicks depending on what your using.
they only need to wash their face once a day.. more is of course better but you can always put a small bowl in and after they'er done take that out and leave them with a chick waterer. or put them in about 2 inches of water in the sink or tub once a day.

what else do you need to know?

Okay...yep that's you, RG! I am going to look at your pics! Cayugas are one of my favorite duck breeds.

i am curiouse i am proble not going to do this but is it possilble for a mother goose to hatch and rare chicks is it even remotly possible and is it possible for a mother hen to rare gosslings and how many gossling eggs would fit under a average size hen.

I would think it would be better to have a hen raise a a couple goslings than a goose raise chicks, just because the chicks would follow the goose into the water and they will drown.
