no its also on piligrams,west of england geese,cotton patched geese,shetland geese,steinbachers and with africans i know if they are males or females by week 1 and mix breeds are a bit harder to predict unless i know what breed the parents are ! For e.g i my male greylag mated with a embden and all the light coloured goslings with orange pale beaks were males and the females were same colour as toulouse goslings and when they got older the males were white and looked like white greylags and the females were same colour as normal greylags but they looked more heavier and all the offspring can fly

I have an Embden gander and a Toulouse goose if they have goslings what are the chances of being able to tell boy/girl by color? or will they most likely just be a smattering of colors of each parent? as you can tell I haven't looked into coloring at all in geese since I never intended to have goslings by this pair.

The goslings of the males are light and have skin coloured beaks

And when older the males will be white with alot of grey feathers

the female goslings will be darker still and beaks can also be pale skin colour or have darker beaks when they are older they will be fully white with maybe one or two brown feathers or fully brown or look like pomerainans

oh and the goslings beaks sometimes will get black marks on their beaks

Ok by look of the goslings in your pictures the dark ones are females and the light are males anything esle u need to no

That´s not 100% sure though, as last year I had 3 obvious males....until they grew and I realised one was a female....sometimes the females have 2 dilute genes!
