GOOSE BREEDING THREAD - for breeding, incubating, hatching and rearing.

My 4 goslings are 5 weeks old. The 2 adults have been following them around (like parents) every time I let them out. Do you think it's safe to put them in with the adults in a shed that's 12x12 feet? The adults show protective behavior, but not to the point where they attack the chickens. I'll take pictures. They are just getting too big for the pen .

I love this picture! That's amazing!

this is her kennel that she incubated the eggs in just sawdust and straw mix as a nest .

my goslings hatched eheh even the one i had to put in my incubator yesterady cause the mother crushed the side of the shell in but the chick was still alive. their are 5 total these are mixed geese the dad is a roman tufted and the female a endem goose. started with 7 eggs but one died early in incubation and she crushed the 6th egg 2 weeks from hatch. i hope she learns better next year not to be so crushy lol.

thank you so happy for my goose her name is ivory and the one that you laughed at has a bump on the head i am pretty sure is because its going to be a tufted i think only one of them didnt have a bump on the head it looks so goofy. these babies hatched a month and 5 days before their parents arrived in the mail the previous year. hopefully next year all 3 of my females hatch out more.
