GOOSE BREEDING THREAD - for breeding, incubating, hatching and rearing.

Did I say Tolbunt? I meant Toulouse.
Well I wasn't going to say anything

usually the vibrating of neck feathers indicates that the goose is nervous or angry or that something is out of the ordinary in the gooses perception of how things should be. geese tend to be creatures of habit and anything that changes or any stranger or animal that comes around can make them nervous.

Here's Babe trying to make mince meat of my shirt. Him and Missy are my biggest chewers.

Aww man. I've seen that behaviour and have been worried about it but Babe seems just so placid about things. It's like my cat that gently chews on my forearm (no scrapes or anything) and rubs his nose/head on me. I love my mean geese but I wish I had a Babe. She's so lovely!

(I can't have a Babe, it would die abut 3 hours after dark - everything's a trade-off)

I did not mean it as you took it I meant maybe the elastic could be a bit tighter so the geese did not pull your pants down so easy. Just was making a funny. I too wear elastic waist pants too. Sorry you took it that way.

Oh no you're fine. I'm sorry. Sometimes a big girl can be a bit defensive and I'm having a bad week. No excuse. I'm sorry.
