Ok so I was checking out the genetics calculator and see that white is a combination of pied and dilute. Does this apply to the chinese white as well?

No, this is often a recessive white. But crosslings often show a butterfly-like bib.
Chinese and the other domestic geese are actually two species that are crossed a lot. Hence it isn't in the goose calculator.

The goose calculator doesnt show that. So then it would work like rec. white in pigeons, a recessive absence of color? For example if you crossed a white embden with a toulouse you would get grey het for white assuming the embden's white only masked grey.

No, Embden is the other type: sexlinked dilution plus pied.
Now this diluted color is not very apparent to the laymen. I would miss it...

But the chinese type would work like the pigeon's rec.white.
I must say that in pigeons this is a strange gene also.
Often dominant pied genes are also present in white pigeons giving strange crossing results.
