Do geese continually try to breed after you collect their eggs? One of my geese has a cut on the back of her head and I am wondering if that is the reason?

They will breed regardless if eggs are there or not.

The “favorite” females of my ganders always have a raw/bald spot during the breeding season. They’ll grow back before fall. As long as it’s not a gaping wound I’d say they recover well on their own.
