Never incubated/hatched geese before. I have 2 Sebastopol geese on day 28. One egg wobbles a fair bit, not seen anything from the other one.

They're in with x2 mandarin ducks who are on day 29. I've just put a safety hole in one which pipped 24h ago and one in the other. Both wobbling now.

Don't think either goose has pipped yet. I know they can be up to 35 days. Just leave them to it? When do I consider a safety hole?

Goose eggs can take a few days to hatch. I've had them pip and it take another few days to successfully hatch. I don't use an incubator, so perhaps it's different.

I do safety holes 24 hours after internal pip if I have not seen a pip yet. They usually external pip within 24 hours of internal pip. Remember they are still transitioning to breathing oxygen when they internal pip. Its a very stressful time and need to rest. After external pip they can take a day or more to absorb there blood and yolk. Geese seem to take forever.
