goose egg over production

i have an 11 month old brown chinese goose hen who has been laying pretty consistently since october. i'm becoming concerned because it's gone on for so long. i've put 3 ceramic eggs in her nest, she just keeps on laying.

is there anyone here who has had this experience & can offer advice?

i have been taking her eggs. the dummy-eggs have been in there about o ne week.

Hopefully the fake eggs will trigger her to go broody and take a break in her laying cycle.

If you want her to take a break let her fill the nest with eggs and hope she goes broody. But Chinese can lay till there hormones kick in or the heat of summer hits. If the eggs are not fertile she will give up the nest after a few weeks. But it will break the cycle.

i put 3 ceramic eggs in the nest. they lasted a week or so before she ejected them. there are now 10 eggs in the nest with no sign of either hen hanging it up for the season.
they're still breeding daily, but it is becoming less often - i think.
