Are any of these people kids? Or unlicensed? Or living in a place where you can't raise geese? There is so much context. This usually doesnt end well. We're not saying this to be negative, we're saying this for the benefit of everyone concerned

An egg and a chick that is already here are two vastly different things. Even so, the affects of man tampering with nature are still prevalent in your example. Due to the first gosling being raised by a human, when she went on to have goslings of her own she did not know how to care for them. Does this seem like a good life for the little goslings to you?
