Eggcartons.com has an AMAZING deal on goose egg cartons- they hold 6 eggs and are see through @6 cents each! Anyone think chicken eggs might safely fit in these? Or should I stop being cheap and buy the chicken ones, lol.

Thanks!
Trish

From the look of the carton, chicken eggs should be safe enough providing the box can be securely closed. It doesn't look as if the eggs will be able to knock against each other and crack. I presume this is cheap (don't know US prices), so it's worth getting one and trying it out.

Off topic a bit, but those would be great for shipping chicken hatching eggs. Each egg could have it's own compartment and there is room for padding inside the cell with the egg
