Pete, I have referred to this so many times on this hatch. Thank you, from a one scientist to another, for you useful, practically, easy to grasp information.
Hi, great guide!
I wanted to ask something. I have a goose turner. Do I still turn the eggs from end to end 1 x a day or is this not nessecary?
Thanks for responding

Chickenma, not sure how much Pete is check on with a busy breeding season. You should put an X on one side and an O on the other and hand turn once a day even if using a turner. Thisis also when you will most and cool the eggs as you get further into incubating.
Thank you for the positive comments and Im pleased its still proving a useful guide
I know it was also published in its entireity in the Backyard Poultry magazine so you can also get a back copy if you want to keep a hard copy available.
