They look very happy. Those dewlap chinese are very unusual looking. Like little old men in front of a store.

Hey Marty, they are beautiful, aren't they?FYI, they are white africans and are extremely rare and valuable. As a result of the feedback I have received from people I have been talking to on a national show level that have seen their pics, I am holding them back from general adoption and trying to get them placed with experienced and respected breeders/showers.![]()
Speaking of talking to high end showers/breeders, Dennis Fuller of Wapsi Waterfowl has placed an order for our remaining two pairs of buffs, and has been spreading the word about the greys and whites to his inner circle. A referral of his has also placed an order for a pair of adults.
As of now, all buffs and half of the grey pairs have been placed!! I also am starting to get requests for pairs of ganders!!! THANK YOU!!!![]()
Celtic will be contacting everyone shortly to provide more information about the shipping process and to arrange for payment for the shipping boxes.
Still have a few grey adult pairs, two pairs/trios of brown africans and lots of grey ganders to place.![]()
Hi IainI bet you will be glad to get home to your babies. I always think of you as hatch mama first, and lawyer by neccesity! LOL I admire your intersting life.![]()
My DH is afraid of plains. He sooo wants to go see his big bro in Washing State, but we're in KS, and its a 25 hour drive. He doesn't want to drive. He's scared of plains. He's too cheap for Amtrak. I won't take the bus.Hows he expect to get there?? Me, I'd hop on a plain every weekend if I could. Take advantage of those last minute travel deals, like I did before we got married, but not. I've been grounded for almost 5 years now. (since we started dating)![]()
I bet thats right. We'll give him the 15.....tell the hubby he has to fly and give him a valium or tell him your going without him. After he flies on the valium he'll wonder what the hub bub was about
UPDATE on remaining birds: I talked to Carole this morning. She has continued to place birds locally and only has 30+ remaining. A wonderful local person I contacted through the forum is at her place right this very minute to assess the remaining birds and to hopefully make arrangements to take them. I have a 2nd person lined up in Carole's area to assist if the 1st person cannot take them all. At this rate, we will have a 100% success with liquidation within the next couple weeks!!
