Jerry/Paulla, I will be printing shipping labels for you later tonight and will forward the info when done. Online says they will be ready for pick up by 3pm Wednesday. However, they could arrive as early as 7am Wednesday, so please be on standby to pick up the birds.

FYI, I weighed the little buff guy who I had named Napolean and was surprised to find he only weighs 13 lbs (compared to my buff juvenile Nutmeg who weighs a whopping 18.5lbs). I expect the girl weighs even less, but will double check that later today. So, I am planning to refund some shipping money to you.
Thank you we are really excited to meet our new babies no dont want a refund the rest is a donation LOL you have done great

Lydia, I am told by both my local post office gals and the guy at the airport in charge of live birds that it is done quite often. But I am sure nervous as h*ll to send them. I am instructed to deliver them to airport cargo counter at 6pm Monday and they will catch a flight out of Utah that night. I have no doubt I will be staring at multiple online tracking screens all day Tuesday!!

You are a nervous mama, keep us updated please.

Marty did you buy more Sebastopols that you didn't know the gender of? You had 2 ganders, 2 geese that you bought from us, plus the one you hatched who was unknown gender.

Would love to see their current pictures again of how they are developing.

Good morning, all. I had a lovely talk with the guy at my airport cargo office last night who will be the one personally overseeing their care until they get on a plane Tuesday morning. He did his best to reassure me that all would be well cared for on this end. Assuming I get payment from all adopters I have contacted so far, I will be sending out 9 dewlaps on Monday night! With the additional 3 africans leaving tomorrow, too, I expect it will feel different around here.

I am thrilled that as of this morning, not including the geese we are keeping, 45 of 69 geese have been placed!! As I assess remaining numbers of available geese, I am most concerned at this point about placing the adult white african trio. They are rare, quite lovely and easy keepers. Please spread the word to anyone you think may be interested that could give them a good home!
