Goose not sitting normal

Our goose sitting very funny on her eggs and she mone out of the nest. She did not get up for two day so we took her off. She ate, drank and went back. That was yesterday but now I am worried. I att ch a photo. I am not home only my husnand until Friday so I cannot give more dtail.

Sometimes you have to make them get off. And that’s important so they can eat drink swim and poop. Put her food and water close enough she has to get up and off the nest to eat. I don’t see any food and water?

The food and water is just out of the picture but I will let my husband know to mone it closer. Thank you. When my husband took her off she did eat and drink but thepoop was lije avolcano erupting. It must be all rhe urine.

Oh boy that broody poop is something else maybe by putting it closer will encourage her to get up. Just keep it where she has to walk some. They can get so obsessed they don’t take care of themselves properly and can get run down.

She seems to be ok now. My husband succeeded moving the eggs more inside the nest as the rain is coming.
While moving her he noticed that there is one more egg! Is it possible that she can be sitting on the eggs and then lay one more?

How long has she been brooding? Usually once they start to brood they may lay one more. But usually don’t lay once brooding starts. Unless someone may have gifted her one? Like one of your other geese?

Thank you then we will watch her, it is only the one extra egg. We only have the two and it is a long and complicated story how we "inherited" them

Gander and goose?asking because there is no sense to let her sit on infertile eggs.

Gander and goose. We actually saw them mating so we hope the eggs are fertile. He is too vicious for me to try and have a look. At some stage we will at keast try and smell them to remove rotten ones. I heard you can smell them.
