Male or female? I’m guessing female but this is my first gosling.

It’s really hard to tell with babies
that is what I’ve heard. I ordered a DNA feather test never got the courage to pluck the feathers out! She is very bonded to the chickens she grew up with. She is somewhat imprinted on me but idk if she’d like me as much after I plucked her feathers!

I think she’s a she because of her voice so far and her cockerel friend is always tid bitting her. I also noticed a sort of belly flap developing which I think is a females trait.

I will get a same species mate for when I confirm.

She could be female, the lobe isn’t a good indicator though, it’s a fat fold and wether they get two, one, or a lumpy mix of both depends on genetics not gender, I’ve seen males and females with all types.
