Goose pip but left a huge hole

So my goose egg was pipped this morning when I woke up. It has widened the hole I'd say about doublethe size. My question is it looks like it tried to zip but stopped but I may just be impatient, so my question is does he look shrink wrapped or malpositioned? He has been with his bill out since ab 5am. He's chirping moving. But not doing much else. So it's been 13 hours. He is still chewing just a tad not very often now. Pica for reference and thank you SO MUCH in advance. Geese can take a very long time to hatch it can be another 24 plus hours so try not to worry.

I don't know anything about geese but with chicks once they pip they have to absorb the yolk. It often looks like they are eating while this is happening if you see that (i assume it's similar for geese) it's fine just not ready yet

Great!! I am in the same waiting boat. One of my Sebbie's externally pipped yesterday and has made a big hole and now making me wait!

I had 3 total but one died in shell, when I finally opened it. It's head was stuck down by the yolk sack. But these two are doing beautifully. I think they are sebbies!
