Does Goose poop make good fertilizer? I have a lot.
I was wondering the same thing. I have composted chicken poop in the past...with good luck. How different could it be?
Yes! Waterfowl poop is full of nutrients
IMO Goose pop is usually more "watery" than chicken poop
As it may contain weed seeds, it's a good idea to compost it before use.
I don't compost it - but the grass quality where the geese are penned is premium -- looks like I weeded, seeded, fed raked -- it is almost a drawback as it is difficult to mow it is so thick and plush. I move the geese around on fresh grass whenever they've eaten down enough, so I don't have piles from a house to compost . . . but it is is powerful stuff!
All good info! Thank you all!
