Goose question!

I was looking at one of my girls yesterday and I noticed she had a goopy eye. It was a clear liquid discharge. Well today it's dried and doesn't seem to be leaking at all. But when I picked her up to look at her she drooled a bit and it was clear too. She isn't lethargic and appears to be eating and drinking and comes to visit me when I come to the gate. She still squeaks at me like she always has but I am curious about th eye and drooling. They are eating all breed chick crumbles and we are getting ready to switch them to a mix of organic crumbles.

How old are your girls?
When I got my two geese they were already almost two months old. The first few times I picked up Ninya after she had been drinking water, she would drool some out because she was excited.

Can't help you with the watery eye, but mine will "throw up" water sometimes if they get scared or alarmed when I pick them up.
