goose sounding chicken?

I have a RIR Rooster that sounds just like a goose. I got him at six days old so I know that he didn't grow up around geese. He's six months old in a few more days. He still crows normal but at least once a day he makes a goose call. Anyone ever run into this? This can't be normal can it?

So no one else has run across this? I wonder if he's heard the geese flying over in the evenings and decided he wants to be a goose?

I have one that honks like a goose. We call her goose chicken. She started doing it this past spring when she heard a flock of wild geese fly over. Now she goes, 'Bock, bock, honk.'

Good to know this. I thought I was going crazy until my friends were over and asked me when did I buy a goose lol. They couldn't believe the sound coming out of the chickens mouth. Thank the Lord that they were here to witness it.
