i'm gonna try to capture some vids of the geese making the various noises they make, and would love some opinion about the vocalizations and or behaviors.

any ideas on the winny sound?

Does it sound like the ones in the background of this one? This was when our 1st set of geese were pretty young, about 2-3 months old. They don't make that sound anymore, but I'm guessing it was just some chatter with them.

Then you also get to see Buddy run off with my knitting pouch. He's such a goof@

Buddy needs his own channel on YouTube. Honestly, that was hysterical! Post more!

He's a big ol' goober! Nowadays, he's the instigator. He likes to stand up and holler mightily for just no reason when the rest of the flock is resting.

One of the oddest things he's done was the day that George, another one of our geese died. He had a respiratory infection. So there I was, crying over George with a hair elastic in my hand. Buddy came up, and I thought he was just going to check out dead George in my lap. Nope! He ate the flipping elastic! I'm thinking, "Great! Georgie is dead and now Buddy will croak tomorrow!"

Buddy was fine, though. He's just a big ol' goober.

Anyone have a vocalization of a Toulouse goose? I need to determine if Lucy is indeed a female.
