Goose tub!

How do the geese do climbing into the half barrels? mine seem clumsy getting into the cement mixing tub, but they really would like something deeper.

Mine just kind of fall in, they get into it easier than they get out of it

I would build them a "deck" it could be made from wood or just layer some cement pavers for them to step up on. I use square patio blocks. and have used a "furniture dolley"...much to my husbands disapproval ..ha

I live in north central wi for my geese and ducks for the winter I have gotten them a regular bathtub a good friend gave me a floatin tank heater to keep it from freezin and my husband put a piece of pvc pipe with duck tape around the bottom to plug drain but for easy drainage and overflow which goes down a drain in the barn a couple of ramps and there havin a ball went to local construction remodelin company and asked about the tub got it for nothin the piece of pvc cost $3 have tank heater cord in plastic hose line to prevent chewin and there is a cage around the heater to keep animals safe

My goose obviously felt uncomfortable not being able to touch the bottom of the new, big pond with his feet. Weeks passed, and he still wouldn't go in. He still loved his little kiddie pool, so we worked out this compromise:

Technically, he's in the pond...

I use an old kiddie sand box. It is in the shape of a crab. If only I could keep my girl and her friend out of it! Georgia, my goose, gets really mad at them for using HER pool
