Hi - just wondering if any else has had this experience and what you did that worked or didn't for your goose? I have a two year old Pomeranian goose "Susie" who is part of a nice Trio that I got from DH 2 years ago as new goslings. Susie has recently decided to hang out with my American Blue geese (the adults are a year older than Susie) family during the day. (They are all in the same pasture - but have separate houses for each family at night) Each trio also have 3 goslings (now about 4 months old). They all get along fine (except during breeding season- then we separate the ganders with their geese). At night she goes with her group, but all day she hangs out with the American Blues - I have never seen anyone be mean to her --- ???? Is it ok to just let them do as they wish until I need to separate them next spring? I don't want to cause her any distress. Thanks for any thoughts or suggestions you may offer.

Usually they hang with the geese they were raised with but nothing says Susie can not change her mind and wants to be with the adult American's through the day time. If they let her it should be OK, but come breeding season or close to it put her back with her night time buddies day and night.
Seems Susie might just have a crush on one of the adult American gander's.

Thanks for your reply RURU
